The Door Has Been Open for 250 Years

Hudson County’s executive gave me twenty minutes on the day the county celebrated America’s 250th birthday. We talked about Marlon Brando, the Statue of Liberty’s water bill, a Korean restaurant in Journal Square, and a school with his name on it. At the end, he said he wanted another hour.
